If you ask what my favourite synthetic fiber brushes are, I will immediately say, “Real Techniques!”. The brush line is the brainchild of two very popular YouTube gurus, the Pixiwoo Sisters, and they don’t really need any introduction. I got my first Real Techniques brushes back in 2012 and have added quite a few to my collection over the last couple of years.

I cannot resist limited edition releases and especially when it’s Chanel. Whatever common sense I have remaining seem to fall out the window when I see their Spring and Holiday collections because I want to hoard ‘em all. That was how I ended up going home with a lighter wallet and two absolutely gorgeous items.

nyx in pinched

I cannot recall when I picked up the NYX Pinched blush. Yes, my memory is failing me. It may have been a gift or purchased online sometime back. Whatever it is, I’m glad to have it with me because I don’t have anything similar in my stash and it is one seriously pigmented blush to boot.

evolu balancing day cream

I was contacted by theSkintopic, a privately-owned company carrying a variety of New Zealand-made brands, asking if I’d be interested in trying a skincare line from Evolu. When they offered to send me a couple of products, I immediately said “yes” because I’ve been having quite a bit of luck with these natural/organic skincare stuff recently.

laura mercier enlightenment

When I first heard whispers of Laura Mercier releasing a palette for Spring, I knew it was something that will eventually come home with me. The Enlightenment Palette came out in the Spring Renaissance collection and includes 2 blush colours and 4 eyeshadow shades.
