into the bin

I spend so much time gushing over my product loves on this blog that I think it’s time I tell you about several items that have been complete poo to me. That’s right, my dears, not everything is that wonderful in Beauty Cabby Land after all. And I think folks can benefit from these types of posts too to help them make better choices before plonking down that hard-earned money on something. clinique cheek pop

Okay, I did go a little batty when I first saw photos of the Clinique Cheek Pops cropping up online. I mean, didn’t you? mary kay skinvigorate

Whenever I see one of these automatic cleansing brushes, I can’t help but compare it to the Clarisonic. I own a Clarisonic Mia (first gen) and have had some success with it. But I had to scale back to using it twice a week because daily Mia use proved to be a bit much on my rather sensitive skin.

essence quattro eyeshadow

Essence is a drugstore brand that is targeted at the younger market but hey, there’s no age limit in makeup. I like their gel eyeliner and was about to explore their eyeshadows next. It was really good timing when a dear friend gave me one of the eyeshadow quads as a gift because I was hooked almost instantly and went to Watsons to pick up another quad.
