I was going through my blog archives the other day and realised I have not done a nail post in a while. So today, I’m sharing a nail polish that I’ve been longing for since I started seeing it popping up on beauty blogs some time ago. I was just waiting for Chanel to bring in their Holiday 2012 collection and immediately jumped on the Le Vernis in Malice.
Chanel Malice is a deep burgundy red with ruby pink shimmers. It is so absolutely gorgeous! Chanel nail polish is usually known for their “secret shimmers” but the ruby pink shimmer in Malice is quite noticeable. The formula is smooth and coverage is quite opaque with just one coat. On my nails, I had two coats without a top coat. It dries relatively quickly, like most of the other Chanel polishes I own.

If I had to pick just one nail polish for the upcoming festive season, it would have to be Chanel Malice. It is elegant, beautiful and really dresses up your nails without too much bling. And I think it will go well with almost anything you wear.
Chanel Le Vernis in Malice retails at RM70 each bottle. It is limited edition but I believe may still be available at most Chanel counters and boutiques. Have you tried it on yet and did you take Malice home with you?

it’s really quite pretty! i read about it a while ago and completely forgot about it! *knocks on head* it’s a definitely to-go color with little time left if you have a function to attend. but i am not sure if i should get it….hmm…

Malice may even be my favourite polish of the year… and that’s saying a lot! I’ll be taking this with me on my annual holiday back to Penang.
This is such a gorgeous shade, it is really seasonally appropriate too. It also looks really lovely and shiny (don’t know if that’s your top coat though!) x
