To finish off the Dior Vernis Color Block 2012 Collection roundup, I will be featuring my favourite polish of the lot. The colour is Lucky and it is such a cute shade to match its cute name.
Lucky is a pink-red polish with slight fuschia undertones. Like the other Color Block polishes, Lucky has a jelly-like finish but applies more like a cream. The consistency is smooth and I didn’t face any issues with application. It has a beautiful gloss that doesn’t really require a separate topcoat to make it shiny. It dries relatively quickly too.
I used my usual two coats but it will be more opaque with three. I can still see a bit of my nail line under bright lighting.
It is such a fun polish and I’m all about the fun! I guess the fun is pretty evident when I’m holding up my favourite Panda strawberry biscuits. That’s right, my dears… Have a Panda biscuit with your favourite bright polish. And let me know if you’re having more fun eating it
Dior Vernis in Lucky is available at most Dior counters nationwide and retails at RM72. I have previously featured the other three polishes from the Color Block Collection in Incognito, Plaza and Riviera and I’d recommend you check them out too.
Do you have a lucky colour and have you tried Dior’s Lucky? Do let me know if any of the Color Block shades has piqued your interest
