I don’t usually wear beigey-nude nails simply because a number of nudes I have come across tend to pull a bit more yellow. However one of the nail polishes that will be released together with Dior’s Addict Extreme lipsticks in April caught my attention.
That nail polish is Incognito and instead of the usual yellow undertones, this has a pretty pink base. This shade is not released yet and I’m offering a sneak peek into Dior’s upcoming Color Block 2012 Collection that is due to be out very soon.
Incognito is a sweet nudish-pink that is fairly close to my natural skin colour. Coverage is relatively sheer and I had two coats in the photos. You can still see a bit of my nail line and it should take three or four coats to achieve complete opacity. I just don’t have the time to wait in between so many coats and it still shows up well with two.
The formula is smooth but you have to let it dry in between layers to avoid any streaking. Like most Dior polishes, the wear time is pretty good but I don’t usually have polishes on for more than a week so I wouldn’t really know what it will look like after 7 days.
Incognito is one of the rare nudes that I can actually wear and am very happy with. It is a work-safe colour that will fit into any professional or corporate environment.
Dior Vernis in Incognito will be available in April and is priced at RM72 per bottle. If you’re into natural or mannequin nails and would like a high quality polish, I’d recommend checking it out when it’s released.

You’re right, Lily… Blushing nude is a very apt description! I’m not normally a nude-nail person but Incognito is so pretty. I also think it’s a suitable nail colour for brides

You may have to find the right nude for your skin tone. I admit I can’t carry off those with more yellow undertones so I’m glad Incognito is more pink.
