I used to follow a Clarins skin care regime about three years ago. Whilst I liked their face and body care products, their cosmetics never held an appeal to me. However, I read on Paris B's that there is a new foundation coming soon and since I am on an insane foundation spree lately, I just had to go check it out. The Muse had also reviewed it not too long ago and it certainly looked like the kind of foundation I needed in my life.
The product comes in the standard red and white Clarins box and is housed in a frosted glass pump bottle. I like the packaging and find it elegant. The pump dispenser can be opened up so there's no wastage and you can get to every last drop.
This product promises to last throughout the day and I wondered how well it will hold up in our humid, tropical climate. I have tried foundations that were supposed to be long-lasting but they never performed the way they claimed to.

it does look good! thanks for the review. I have a sample of this foundation. perhaps I should try it. probably not the right shade though. lol
Connie : It is a pretty good foundation and definitely worth a try. I find the shades quite limited though, think there's about eight.
wow now i am pretty impressed too! i have a sample of this too, can't wait to try it when i go home. thanks for the review.
xin : I do like it a lot but I still find myself preferring the Diorskin Nude for that more "dewy" finish.
Hehe you got it! I didn't want to because liquid foundation isn't quite my thing but its great to know that it works
ParisB : I know what you mean, I never thought I would like liquid foundations but I really do
Clarins usually brings very good quality products to the market. The foundation lasts for long time and blend really well wit the skin.
Nice review
. You said the 103 ivory shade in this foundation wasn't too yellow too, is it like MAC NC/NW15 or 20? And do you think it can work for dry skin too?
